Nomad of the Year. (Voted by the members).

Nomad of the year
A number of players deservedly picked up votes for Nomad of the Year including John Hoddy, Pete Gardner, Dan Moss.

Mark Heslington was voted Nomad of the Year by his fellow Nomads. He consistently displayed his all-round talents, often opening the batting and bowling. He took 25 wickets at 13.36 and scored 323 runs at 29.36, including two half-centuries and pouched 5 catches.

Performance of the Year. (Chosen by the committee).

Performance of the year
Some memorable performances this year with 14 half centuries scored and 20 occasions where a bowler took 3 or more wickets.

Batting
Pete Gardner scored 6 half centuries, Dan Moss scored 3, Mark Heslington 2 and Dan Brannigan, Paul Fearon and Stuart McCumisky all scored one each. The highest innings was 82 against Royal Brussels by Dan Brannigan. Dan Moss scored 81 against Abbotts Bromley and Mark Heslington also

scored 81 against the President’s XI.

Bowling
The best bowling performance was Nick George’s 4 for 10 against Draycott & Hanbury. Nick also took 4 for 18 against Longdon. John Hoddy returned 4 for 34 against Walsall Health and 4 for 42 against Woore. Dave Pickering took 4 for 38 against Bloxwich and Ian Hughes picked up 4 for 52 against Abbotts Bromley.

All round performances
Dan Brannigan 82 and 3 for 30 against Royal Brussels
Mark Heslington 65 and 3 for 27 against Wednesbury
Dan Moss 65 not out and 2 for 23 against Wednesbury.
Nick George 4 for 18 and 27 against Longdon.

Winner: Dan Brannigan for his performance on the Belgian Tour. 82 runs and 3 for 30 against Royal Brussels and 40 runs against Gent Arcadians.
Fielder of the Year. (Chosen by the committee).

Fielder of the year

The usual suspects were all commended for their excellent fielding.

Dan Moss was leading catcher with 8 catches, including 3 in the match against Abbotts Bromley.
Nick George took 7 catches and Dan Brannigan took 6 catches including 3 in the match against D2.

There were improvements noted across the squad and Dave Pickering and Chris Jones received honourable mentions

Winner: Dave Rolfe thanks to some superb performances in the outfield and as a keeper. The match against x was notable in that not a single bye was conceded by Dave.

 
Gonad of the year.

Gonad Trophy
Hoddy, Forster, Balckburn, Weir, Pickering and McCumisky all notched up a brace of ducks and nine others picked up a single duck. The race went to the final match of the season once again. Ian Bourne and Ian Hughes both collected 3 gonads and the winner on least runs scored was Bourney.
Winner: Ian Bourne 3 gonads.

Match of the season
Plenty of good performances with 9 wins and 2 battling draws against Sutton on the Hill.
The team batting performance against Abbotts Bromley was outstanding as the Nomads rattled up 253 for 4 in 40 overs. The only time the Nomads reached 200 this season.
The bowling was excellent to win at Draycott & Hanbury defending 86 in a low scoring match.
