Minutes of the twenty third AGM held 11^th November 2004.

Proposed DF and seconded by MP.

Financial report

DF gave detailed report which is on the website. Barton CC bill arrived in January for 5 home games. Net profit was £39.06. Test tickets paid in full. 20 paid up members. MP said that with everybody being litigious, the £6m public liability is justified. Mc3 insurance is now £253. DF thanked MP and NH for collecting the match fees.

50 Club

Not a bad year, details on website. £495 in £403 out. 8 numbers partly paid. JH owes £24. Thanks to everybody. £341 in so far.

Captain’s report

Interesting season, earlier thought curry was on. 3 up at beginning of August. Visited new venues. One of the difficulties was arranging people not because we were short but because we had to ask people to stand down. DF hoped everybody enjoyed the season, Thanked MP for filling in and NH for vc. MP missed PG’s batting and DC & PH bowling.

RJ gave vote of thanks for 2 years.

Fixtures

MP gets the good fixtures early. Possibly 6 Saturday games. Woore could be 50 over early start. Tour fixtures to be sorted. Vote on 2.00pm start took place. Need to get key for score box, 1^st game 09.04.05 at Swynnerton.

Nets

Nets at FG sorted. Outdoor nets peaked in mid June and attendances varied. MP suggested 2^nd and 4^th week in the month to the end of July on Thursdays. IH will approach Wall CC and suggest we will pay for a requirement on demand.

Kit

No major purchases. MP thanked MH for looking after the kit. MH asked that a little more respect is given when using the club kit so it can be packed away easily. IH suggested a kit packing rota; this would be discussed at the Jan meeting.

Beer break 9.25pm

Social

Dinner was a huge success. 34 people attended a very good venue. KG birthday drink was a good evening and the curry evening had an attendance of 3. Xmas social on 10^th Dec 7.30 at the Scales, curry after. Test match tickets for Durham.

Tour

TO has contact in Lincolnshire. MP to arrange fixtures for Sat and Sun. Lots of support for it. No Belgium tour this coming season.

Captaincy

RJ proposed PB for Captaincy, seconded by MP.
