Result: Lost by 134 runs. Swynnerton 147 for 7. LNCC 13 for 9 (all out).
Conditions: Cold, Windy.

This match goes down in the annals of Nomads history as the worst defeat in the history of the club. It is the lowest score ever recorded by a Nomads team.

I felt the urge to record this momentous day on the world wide web as very few Nomads actually own up to playing in the match but the scorecard below will reveal all. Just like actors who can never bring themselves to utter the actual title of Shakespeare's Scottish play, we too suffered a blind spot with the name of the Staffordshire side that bowled us out for 13.

Personally I don't remember much about the game other than the fact that I top scored with 3 not out and that we seemed to bat for ages to get only 13 runs. Every match against Swynnerton has been pretty competitive since that day.
