W.T. Parker v Lichfield Nomads

Mark Heslington broke up a crucial partnership to trigger a W.T. Parker collapse. They were all out for 125 and the Nomads reached their target for the loss of just 3 wickets.

Parkers elected to bat first and were soon in trouble with Hoddy and Heslington taking early wickets. A brief recovery was made by WT's batsmen enforcing the return of Heslington. He duly rewarded his captain's decision, sending both the danger men back to the pavilion.
Debut boy Sos Hughes took 3 wickets with Greaves, Blackburn and Coleman taking one a piece. Heslington bowled magnificently taking 3-11 off 10 overs. Parkers finishing on 125 all out.

Nomads started well with Gardner and Hussein putting on 61 for the first wicket. An unbeaten 44 by Pinfield saw Nomads through comfortably to a 7 wicket win.
