Low total proves Nomads downfall
Nomads total of 148 looked well short of par and so it proved as Walsall Health eased to a six wicket victory at Holland Sports. Dan Moss starred with bat and ball for the Nomads but Allsop's 67 proved the difference as Walsall AHA won comfortably.

Some fine Walsall AHA bowling meant that the Nomads struggled to impose themselves early on and didn't get near to a competitive score. The key partnership with Hughes was probably the turning point as Hughes ran out Moss calling for a suicidal run. Fearon added some spice with two big sixes in a quickfire 27 to edge towards a competitive score but the final total of 148 all out never looked enough.

Allsop's rapid 67 put the opposition ahead of the rate and firmly in the driving seat and despite some late pressure exerted by the Nomads, Walsall cantered to a six wicket victory.
