x from 47 overs (Heslington 3-29) Nomads 72 for 6 from xx overs (Gardner 15, Heslington 11 n.o., Grewer 8 n.o.) Against a mixed team of 2nds and 3rds plus the Australian Professional, Nomads put up a decent performance in the first full game of the season. Nomads bowled well and restricted the Olton and West Warwickshire batting to 171 after they batted on for 15 minutes before tea. Nomads reached 72 for 6 thanks in the main to a stubborn 7th wicket partnership between Heslington and Grewer. Heslington had earlier starred with the ball as well, taking 3 wickets before turning an ankle late in the game in his second spell. |
