Pre-season Club Prize draw
The pre-season social took place last weekend to welcome in the new season, and it was the perfect opportunity to get the 2026 version of the 60 club underway with the pre-season draw.
Numbers were drawn by random number generator in my absence, big congratulations to Chris Parsonage (No.56) and Rich Bastable (No.34) who took home the first two prizes of the year winning £100 and £50 respectively.
First of the monthly draws will be conducted over a well deserved beer in the (hopefully) warm April evening sun in the aftermath of one of our first fixtures.

Lichfield Nomads Cricket Club - Winter Indoor Nets
Once again our winter net sessions will run every Thursday evening from 7:30pm to 9pm starting on 29th January 2026 until 7th May 2026, inclusive. Even during school holidays, so 15 consecutive weeks.

We will be in the sports hall.
Nets fee will remain £3.00 per person per session.
Plan is for this to be collected via bank transfer in May to avoid a myriad of transactions, so we will keep a list of attendees.

Andy Gibson wins Nomad of the Year
The annual Lichfield Nomads Dinner and awards, took place at the Quill and Scholar in Lichfield on Saturday 15th November.
This year's meal was organised by Social Secretary Andy Gibson and the main prizes were as follows:
Nomad of the Year - Andy Gibson
Performance of the year - Tony Jordan / Jim Cogzell
Most Valuable Player - Andy Gibson
Fielder of the year - Sam O'Brien
Golden Gonad Guard - Dave Rolfe
2025 Award winners
As part of the evening the end of season 50 club draw was conducted with bumper prizes of £100 and £50 being drawn out by MVP winner Andy Gibson and club stalwart Keith Stanley. 2025 50 Club winners
The £100 prize was won by Nick Bryars with number 31 and £50 went to Rich Bastable with number 34, congratulations both.
