Good luck message from the Treasurer
Just for those who have a spare moment in between thrashing the opposition
around the countryside. Your "friendly" treasurer, Dave Forster is now
recovering at home after an operation to correct a gastric hernia. The op was
carried out on Friday 16th so Dave will not be in cricketing circulation until
nets start again in January.
Current running speed is a little less than it was
during the season and quick three's are unlikely for a while (were they
ever?). Dave managed to cover 22 yards in a little under two minutes on
Saturday morning. Yet to try to get his arm, or any other part of his body,
over.
Looking forward to the annual dinner. Make sure
that you push the Captain to the limit in search of the elusive curry...Qmin
is very nice!
Cheers
Dave F
p.s.
Despite having bits pushed around in my abdomen,
my "nomads financial" brain has kept up its normal functioning. So Dave
Pickering (£1 from nets in early August) and Dan Moss (£5 match fee following
the Kevin Pietersen catching skills show), I haven't forgotten!
